Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

September 14, 2019

Meeting called to order 10:00 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Mike, Patricia, Craig, Tracey, Bill                 Greg absent (excused)

Minutes: Minutes for August 10^th and 27^th, 2019 was read and approved with a correction.  

Staff reports:

Presidents: Mike gave a verbal report. Introduced Elliott the new maintenance person.

Mike introduced the Pioneer School Superintendent, John Gummel, who talked about the school levy to be voted on in November.

Treasurer: A report was given by Patricia (the report is in the office).

Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office)

Maintenance report: A report was given by Elliott.

Pool Report: Teresa gave a verbal report. She reported that there was 5400 people used the pool this summer, she wanted to replace the three old wooden tables, $600 was brought in selling ice cream and other foods, and that Elliott is her backup and will be going to the school for it.

The Board voted to accept the staff reports.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: Mike gave the report. He said there were letters and fines going out, and Carolynne sends out letters first and they seemed to get the best results.

Activities Committee: Marcia talked about the hi-tea and Shorefest. Louanne thanked Marcia for her work getting the events together.

Old Business: Greg’s gave a update on the irrigation system. He said that he got three bids ranging from $20,000 to $8,000. Oakland Bay Landscaping was the lowest at $8,000 so he and Mike met with him last Tuesday to go over the plans and to lock in a date in October. Shorecrest gave him a $2,000 down payment.

New Business: Greg talked about ballot boxes at Shorecrest and politics.
