Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

May 11, 2019

Meeting called to order 10:00 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Tracey, Patricia, Bill               Mike and Greg absent (excused)

Minutes: Minutes for April 13^th, 17^th and 27^th, 2019 was read and approved with corrections.  

Staff reports:

Presidents: Mike and Greg absent. Patricia was acting president. No report.

Treasurer: A report was given by Patricia (the report is in the office).

Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office).

Maintenance report: None

Pool Report: Teresa gave a verbal report. She reported that the pool was being drained and that the pool area was being readied for the pool opening on May 25^th.

The Board voted to accept the staff reports.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: Larry gave a verbal report. At the last Architectural Committee meeting a lot combination was approved (160 E Hillcrest Dr.), a permit for building was approved (440 E Bridger) and discussed the work that was being done on a way to track and send out the letters for violations.

Activities Committee: Carolynne gave a verbal report. She reported on the bingo night on September 4^th and the pool opening party on Memorial Day. The Yoga party requested that flowers be put in the pool area. She requested $200 for the food for the party and $60 for the flowers. She then talked about the vandalizing at the picnic area.

The Board voted to approve spending up to $200 for the party and $60 for flowers.

New Business:

A member talked about camping at the park at the end of Hilcrest Dr.

Guest Business:

None

The Board voted to closed session to employee issue and letters to members.

Closed Session:

Open Session:

The Board voted to give the employee, discussed in closed session, a $1.00 raise beginning May 1^st.

The Board voted to send out the letters to discussed in closed session.
