Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

January 12, 2019

Meeting called to order 10:00 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Mike, Tracey, Patricia, Greg and Bill

John Gummel, the supervisor of Pioneer school district, gave a talk about the cost of sending our kids to Shelton High School.

Minutes: Minutes for December 08, 2018 and January 10, 2019 was read and approved with corrections.  

Staff reports:

Presidents: Mike gave a verbal report. He talked about the work that was done on the budget and the work done on the Rules and Regulations. Decided to have the annual meeting on April 27^th.

Treasurer: A report was given by Bill (the report is in the office)

Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office).

Maintenance report: Larry gave a verbal report. He talked about having to clean up some tree that were blown over.

Pool Report: Teresa gave a verbal report. She discussed that we pool don’t need pool cover. She said that we need 4 filters ($400) and a grate for the bottom of the pool ($600).

The board voted to spend up to $1000 for a new grate and filters.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: The Board voted to accept Larry’s resignation from the Architectural Committee and to put Pat Long on the Architectural Committee.

Activities Committee: Marcia talked about the spaghetti dinner and bingo to be held on February 4^th.

New Business:

Cynthia Dyrnes introduced herself as a candidate for the Board of Directors.

The Board voted her to be on the Board of Directors.

The Board discussed the clubhouse used for yoga.

Old Business:

The Board discussed the changes to the Rules and regulations.
