Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

September 8, 2018

Meeting called to order 10:00 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Bill, Mike, Greg, Patricia        

Minutes: Minutes for August 11 and 28 were read and approve with corections.

Staff reports:

Presidents: Mike thanked Patricia for returning to the Board of Directors. He also said we need to put on our sign that we need Board Members.

Treasurer: A report was given by Bill (the report is in the office)

Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office). She also discussed the lot that we own on Peyton Place. The Board voted to sell the lot.

Maintenance report: Larry was absent.

Pool Report: A verbal report was given by Teresa. She reported on a incident at the pool between some boys. Closing the pool because of lack of members using it and the weather was discussed. The Board voted to close the pool.

The Board voted to approve the staff reports.

Written reports are in the office.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: A verbal report was given by Ken. A complaint was made by a member about a fire hazard.

Activities Committee: Marcia discussed what to do about the leftover food from Shorefest.

Old Business:

Greg updated use on the speed problem by cars entering Shorecrest on Crestview.

New Business:

Mike talked about putting the need for Board Members on our sign. Also, he discussed the pumping of the septic tank.

Carolynne discussed the prices she found on tables for the pool. The Board voted to buy 4 tables and 4 umbrellas. The Board voted to buy an awning to go over the barbeque area.

Guest Business:

None

Voted to Closed Session for Architectural business.

Open Session

The Board Voted to send out the letter discussed in Closed Session.

The Board Voted to appoint Greg Clark to be Vice President of the Board of Directors.
