Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

July 14, 2018

Meeting called to order 10:00 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Pam, Jerry, Bill, Mike and Greg LouAnn was absent (excused)

Minutes: Minutes for March 10 & 28th ,May 22nd , June 26th were read and approved with corrections.
Staff reports:
Presidents: Mike introduced our new Board member Greg Clark. Pam suggested that a letter thanking Rick and Patricia for stepping forward and running for the Board of Directors. Pam volunteered to write the letters.
Treasurer: A report was given by Bill (the report is in the office)
Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office).
Maintenance report: A verbal report was given by Larry. He said that he was working to get the grass green.
Pool Report: A verbal report was given by Teresa. She said there have been over 500 swimmers so far. The blue tables were built in 1967 and need to be replaced.
The Board voted to approve the staff reports.
Written reports are in the office.

Committee reports:
Architectural Committee: Larry talked about the yearly drive around
Activities Committee: Marcia reported that they had to get another band for Shorefest.
The board voted to approve up to spend up to $2,000 for Shorefest.
The Board voted to accept Committee reports.
Written reports are in the office.

Old Business:
Carolynne discussed the cost of filing and release free the county charges for liens.
The Board voted to approve raising the fees to file a lien to $300 and to release a lien to $250.
Mike reported he checked with the county about speed bumps and the county said they don’t put in speed bumps. A discussion followed about the radar sign that the county has. Greg volunteered to look int to getting one from the county.

New Business:
Charlie discussed the enforcement of the Rules & Regulations. Several members joined the discussion.

Voted to adjourn the meeting.
