Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

January 13, 2018

Meeting called to order 10 AM

Marty Brewer, the superintendent of Pioneer School District, gave a talk about a proposed project where the Pioneer and Hood Canal School Districts would build a high school to be used by both school districts.

Roll Call: Ken, Mike, Bill, Pam, Jerry LouAnn was absent
Minutes: December 9th and 19th, 2017 was read and approved with a correction.

Staff reports:
Presidents: Keith from the water board gave a report on Jeff’s death. Mike gave a verbal report. He talked about Jeff and about leasing the beach at our park to a company to harvest oysters.
Treasurer: A report was given by Bill (the report is in the office)
Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office). She also discussed buying a awning for the pool attendants.
Maintenance report: A verbal report was given by Larry. The mole problem was discussed.
Pool Report: Carolynne gave a verbal report. She reported that Teresa can’t run the food bank any longer. She said LouAnn and other women discussed helping with the food bank.
The Board voted to approve the staff reports.
Written reports are in the office.

Committee reports:
Architectural Committee The architecture business has to be takin up in closed session.
Activities Committee: Pam talked about the yoga retreat.
The Board voted to accept Committee reports.
Written reports are in the office.

Voted to go into closed session to discuss a letter a member.

The Board voted to send out the letter discussed in the closed session.
