Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

November 11, 2017

Meeting called to order 10 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Mike, Bill, Pam, LouAnn                    absent: Joe (excused working)

Minutes for October 14, 2017 October 31, 2017 was read and approved with correction.

Staff reports:

Presidents Mike gave a verbal report. He thanked the veterans for their service. He reported that the culvert by the sign on Crestview is finished. He thanked LouAnn for her assistance and Mark and the water company for donating over $2500 for their time, equipment and material for the culvert. He also wanted to thank Jeff and the water company for clearing the blackberry bushes from the lot across the street from the club house.

Treasurer: A report was given by Bill (the report is in the office)

Office Manager: A report was given by Carolynne (the report is in the office)

Pool report: A verbal report was given by Teresa. She discussed the covering of the pool and a drive to provide coats for kids.

Maintenance report: A verbal report was given by Larry. He reported that the pool was being readied for the cover to be put on it.

Voted to approve the staff reports.

Written reports are in the office.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: A verbal report was given by Larry. He reported that the committee was getting ready to send out some 2^nd and 3^rd letters to members and that he and Mike hauled stuff to the dump for a member that wasn’t able to.

Activities Committee: LouAnn and Marcia reported that the Thanksgiving dinner preparation was going well.

Voted to accept Committee reports.

Written reports are in the office.

Old Business: Jerry Strong was voted to be on the Board of Directors by the Board. His term will end in 2018. Mike discussed the problems he was having with the county dealing with the property on Ashwood that is a worse now than it was a couple of years ago when it was boarded up and cleaned up.
