Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

October 14, 2017

Meeting called to order 10 AM

Roll Call: Ken, Mike, Bill, Pam.       Absent were LouAnn (on vacation excused) and Joe (not excused)

Minutes for September 9, 2017 was read and approved with correction.

Staff reports:

Presidents: A verbal report was given by Mike. He reported that the tree by the pool was removed, and that Century Link had put up a fence by our sign on Crestview.

Treasurer: A report was given by Bill

Office Manager: The report was read by Mike.  

Pool report: A verbal report was given by Teresa.

Maintenance report: A verbal report was given by Larry. He reported that he removed the rails for the pool.

Voted to approve the staff reports.

Written reports are in the office.

Committee reports:

Architectural Committee: Larry reported that a letter to be sent to a member was discussed.

Hearing Committee: Jerry Strong reported that the committee decided to go ahead with what was discussed at the meeting. (We will go into the committee findings in more detail in Closed Session)

Activities Committee: Marcia reported there would not be a taco Tuesday at this time.

Voted to accept Committee reports.

Written reports are in the office.

Old Business: None

New Business: Member said that the home he had built on Hammon Place is finished now.

Guest Business: None

Went into Closed Session to discuss Hearing Committee results, Architectural Committee letter to member, and employee wages.

Closed Session:

Open Session: Voted to what was decided in closed session about the Hearing Committee results, the Architectural Committee letter to member, and gave Larry a $1.00 raise.

Voted to adjourned.

Adjourned: 11:00am
