Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

September 19, 2015

Meeting called to order 10:03 AM

Roll Call: Patricia, Chuck, Ken, Bill, Joe, Bob, Mike

Minutes for August 08 and August 27 were read and approved.

Staff Reports:

Presidents report: Bob gave a verbal report Treasurer report was given by Bill.

Office Manager report was given by Carolynne.

Pool report was given by Verbally by Teresa.

Voted to approve the purchase of two filters for the pool for $2500

Maintenance report: None Voted to approve the staff reports. Written reports are in the office.

Committee Reports:

Architectural Committee Wes Ball gave a verbal report.

Communications Committee was given by Joe verbally. Discussed Newsletter and web page. Activities Committee none (discussed Shorefest) Voted to approve the committee reports.

Old Business

Girl Scouts will use the club house on Thursday from 5pm till 7pm 2 times a month.

New Business

Voted to appoint Bob Charleston (board member), Ken Shelton (board member), Scott Brown (member), Mark Carlson (member), Teresa Holcomb (member) to the Hearing committee.

Pioneer School will give a presentation about the new school building at the November meeting.

We went into closed session to discuss a legal issue ,violation letters, and employee issue.

Returned to open session.

Voted to give Carolynne Brown a $1.00 per hour raise effective October 1^st , 2015 and up to 20 hours a year sick leave effective September 22, 2015.

Voted to change the Architectural committee's Policies and Procedures Section 1 sub-section g to remove parts III and VI .

Voted to authorize our lawyer to proceed with what she recommended and was discussed in closed session.
