Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

March 23, 2021

Working Meeting.

Meeting called to order 10:03 am

Roll Call: Greg Clark, Ken Shelton, Craig Larson, Tracey McGlothlin, Janet Martini, (absent Mike Jacobson excused)

Greg called the meeting to order.

The minutes for February 09, 2021 were approved by the Board.

Greg asked about the letter from a member’s lawyer and Carolynne said everything was OK with the member now.

Greg asked about the Treasurers report, Tracey and Carolynne talked about the report and the Board supported the report. The report is in the office.

Carolynne gave the office report. She said the “Call to Meeting” already been mailed, and that the 2021-22 Assessments will be mailed March 26^th.

Larry Stecker our website designer has been doing a good job and requested the free for the SBC web site be increased from $50 to $75. The Board voted to raise the fee to $75.

The cost of sending out the “Call to Meeting” was discussed.

Elliot said he wanted to scrape off the gravel between the garage and the club house and replace it with smaller 3/8” minus crushed rock gravel.

The Board voted to spend $500 to beautify the sign at the entrance to SBC and purchase the crushed rock.

Elliot talked about several letters he sent out to lot owners that have lots that needs to be cleaned up. The Board gave Elliot authorization to continue sending out the letters without coming back to the Board each time. Only controversial issues should be discussed with the Board prior to mailing.

Carolynne talked about homes being built without permits from SBC.

The pool will open Memorial Day, weather permitting. Chili and hot dogs will be served to those attending.

We will be buying some new tables and benches for the pool. Board approved 3 Picnic Tables at $250 each.

SBC will be having a spring cleanup on the 1^st and 3rd weekends of May. The Board voted to spend up to $2000 for dumpsters for these 2 events.

The playground equipment is old and needs to be replaced. Craig will check on prices for a new playground.

We talked about planters at the garden for people the want to plant the own vegetables. Janet plans to talk to discuss with Amelia on how this could be done? We also discussed having a Children’s Planting Day at the garden. The Board supported this idea. Elliot gets a couple of yards of soil for the garden and having kids plant flower bulbs at the garden.
