Shorecrest Beach Club Minutes

Working Meeting.

Meeting called to order 10:00 am

Roll Call: Mike, Ken, Craig, Tracey, Janet, Greg, Janet

Mike invited a spokesperson (Amelia) from the League of Women Voters to speak to us about setting up a booth by the bus shelter on the 30^th.so people could sign up to vote.

The Board voted to accept the minutes from July 28^th and August 25^th.

Mike thanked Marcia and Janet for all the plants they got for around the pool.

Carolynne reported the offer to buy lot that Shorecrest owns on Payten Pl was rescinded.

Craig and Elliot completed the repairs on the stairs at our park with Mikes help cleaned out the brush at the park.

The landscaping around the pool is complete.

Tracey did the Treasures Report, the report is in the office.

Carolynne did the Office Managers report, the report is in the office.

The fire alarm system check that the county inquired about was brought up. Elliot is checking on it.

Elliot gave a verbal Architectural report. He talked about a letter sent out. Mike and Greg talked about the boat that has been parked just off the boat ramp. They have informed the County about it.

A security system for around the clubhouse was discussed. The Board voted to spend up to $1,000 for cameras and motion sensors. And a way to secure the trailer was discussed.

It was decided to skip the Thanksgiving dinner this year. Donations to be given out a Christmas were discussed.

Went into closed session to discuss liens.

The Board voted to proceed with the liens discussed in the closed session.

The Board voted to accept Carolynne’s proposal to increase her vacation time by one minute per hour worked.

We talked about how to fill in for Carolynne if she took time off for vacation.

The Board voted to give Carolynne a $1.00 per hour raise effective October 1^st and then in April we will start giving all employee’s, including Carolynne a raise on May 1^st.
