Shorecrest Board Meeting

Vice Presidents report by Craig Larsen

Pool update, final steps to be completed in the next week or two which is replacing some corroded wiring and putting in new lights.  32 spots were patched in the pool when there were some issues.  We will probably be doing this again next year for a number of other areas that need taken care of.  Not much else going on right now during the winter.

Treasurers report by Carolynne Brown.  

Balance in our account is $128,963.68.  We still have about $5,000 to pay for pool repairs and there is a need for a new printer in the office with a cost of about $1,300.  A copy of the full report can be found at the office if anyone wishes to get a copy.

Office Managers report by Carolynne Brown

We had 10 properties sell in November.  We filed 6 liens for non-payment of dues and covenant violations.  Working on this next years budget.  A copy of the full report can be found at the office if anyone wishes to get a copy.

Maintenance Managers report 

Elliott wasn’t present at the meeting due to a sick child at home.  He did put together all of the maintenance highlights for the year 2023.  A copy of this can be found at the office if anyone wishes to get a copy.

Other business:  The board is meeting on Wed. December 10th to go over the budget for FY 2024.

It was mentioned that there is an board member spot open if anyone is interested.  

Someone brought up the fact that when you do a Google search for Shorecrest it brings up 5 different websites that all look alike.  We will get with Larry, our web designer, to see what we can do about that.  

Someone brought up maybe having a new comers welcome tea again.  This would be up to the Activity committee.  

Someone asked when the annual members meeting is.  Our fiscal year ends and we have our annual meeting in April for the whole community.  We do have board meetings monthly and these are open to any community members.
