Presidents report by Mike Jacobson

     The pool has been patched. More of a job than expected. Had to repair 36 different areas in the pool where there were holes or raised areas. Used 250 pounds of material to refinish the areas needed. $3,000 worth of material. Should add 3 to 4 years of life to the pool before we have to refinish the whole pool. This way we can save enough money to pay for the repairs rather than having to charge the assessment to the members. Elliott also replaced some of the tiles around the pool and repaired some areas around them. We have to redo the lights around the pool as there are some major issues with them. This will cost us $6,000. The parts have been ordered as soon as they come in and the contractor will be out to fix. Thank you, Elliot, for all your work on the pool. Mike and Craig also helped with this big project. For everyone’s information we had gotten a bid to refinish the pool and it came in at $60,000. We will end up spending a little under $10,000 so a large savings to the community.

We had a fence put up between our carport and garden area facing a new home next to the property. We wanted to keep the area looking good for the neighborhood and provide privacy for the new homeowners.

Office managers report by Carolynne Brown

     Properties are still selling in our community. We have had 7 sales over the past month. We have 60 properties with liens on them. There are still 85 property owners that have not paid the assessment for the new roofs that we replaced. If you would like to see a copy of the whole report it can be obtained in the office.

Maintenance report by Elliot Pridmore

    The pool has been his main focus for the last month. There has been a lot of trees debris around that has been cleaned up and the baseball diamond is done now.

Architectural Committee report by Elliot Pridmore

   3 letters have gone out for non-compliance. Talked about bringing complaints to the meetings and not just posting on Facebook. The committee needs complaints in writing according to our rules and regulations. It was discussed that maybe we send a reminder to the community of the process for complaints.

Activity Committee report by Mike Jacobson

     Bingo on the 20^th. Asked for slightly used things for donations for prizes. There will be coffee, beer and wine and cookies served. A $2.00 donation was asked for drinks.

Amelia talked about the community garden. The garden has been cleaned up for the winter crops and soil has been rototilled for winter. They will be re-arranging the compost pile and getting a shed for the equipment they use. They are looking into an irrigation system for next year. It has been great to see so many people stop by and make encouraging comments about the garden and voice their appreciation. The garden is a lot of work, so thank you to all the volunteers that spent time making it a wonderful addition to our community.
